Edward Durr on Health Care

Don't punish doctors for misinformation on treatment

Former state Senator and gubernatorial candidate Ed "The Trucker" Durr voiced his opposition to a bill, A-1884, that recently made its way through the Assembly Health Committee. The bill aims to establish the "act of disseminating misinformation as professional misconduct for health care professionals."

"Assembly bill 1884 is dangerous." Durr said, "The bill interferes with the doctor-patient relationship by allowing doctors to only discuss treatments approved by CNN and MSNBC."
