The Committee for Working Families was founded to chart our state’s future into the next century. The challenges are obvious: excellence in education, targeting emerging state economic trends, a sound and equitable tax structure which encourages
hard work and investment; and a work force which is educated and prepared to meet the possibilities of the new economy. We must grapple with the tough issues which confront our State to ensure the long-term success of out families and our economy.
