Supports brownfield cleanup
Tom helped pass the new “Brownfield Law” to set up funds and programs to support the clean up of abandoned and polluted sites.
The benefits of this initiative include revitalizing industrial sites and keeping existing open space undeveloped. This “Brownfield Law” is good for the state’s environmental and fiscal health.
