• Double the budget of the Michigan Auditor General, which will put more investigators on the ground to hold departments accountable.
• Implement zero-based budgeting to force the executive and every department head to justify every tax dollar being spent.
• Ensure full economic development transparency--every company that receives a subsidy, the amount received, and how the money was spent.
• Ban the use of nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) in state government.

Time to prioritize repairing and maintaining local roads

For too long, state highways & expressways have taken the lion's share of road funding while our local roads crumble. Any new or increased road funding should go directly to repairing & maintaining local roads--where most Michigander's drive every day.
