While quality education is our top priority, the federal government only spends 2.5 cents of every dollar on education. While standards & accountability are important, those who tell you money isn't part of the answer are kidding both you, and themselves The federal government can, should and must help ensure that every child in New Mexico has access to a high quality education by funding programs.
