We need to maintain the innovation and progress that has given Wisconsin a leg up nationally. I believe the federal government should give schools the resources to succeed. But, with those resources we must have accountability, student progress and most of all, local control. We need to give teachers the flexibility they need to maintain order in classrooms and parents the choice to decide who educates their children. WE SHOULD EMPOWER PARENTS, NOT BUREAUCRATS.
