Politicizing judiciary sets a poor Constitutional precedent

A string of Democratic Party lead filibusters against President Bush's judicial nominees included that of Mr. Miguel Estrada who eventually asked that his name be withdrawn from consideration for placement on US Circuit Court of Appeals. The opposition to Miguel Estrada was unprincipled and therefore unfortunate. This filibuster of judicial nominees sets a bad constitutional precedent and a new low for partisanship in Washington. Investigation needed about NY campaign fundraising

[Ethics of fundraising in NY State] is an issue of public trust. It's not difficult to make a mistake when dealing with campaign finance law, and honest mistakes do happen, but when you combine an extensive list of questionable fund-raising activity, a record-breaking fine ordered by the FEC for taking illegal money, I think you have reasonable grounds for an official investigation.
