Michael Benjamin on Budget & Economy

Limit government intervention in the economy

To build and strengthen our economy, limited government, free markets, and lower taxes work best. Major tax reform and simplification would create sustained long-term economic growth, more jobs, and allow more Americans to experience prosperity. It is absolutely necessary that we root out corruption where it exists in our financial markets & punish it severely when it occurs, and aggressively promote measures that end corruption on Wall Street and restore investor confidence in our financial markets."

Bring jobs back home to New York

In the 1960's, New York was home to 140 Fortune 500 companies. Today that number is 33. In 1980, New York was home to 37% of America's jobs in financial services. Today that number is 20%. Economic growth is the solution to most of the challenges facing America today.
