Vouchers for school choice including private or homeschool

A: I support school choice because I believe parents should have the ability to choose the educational environment that best meets their child's individual needs, whether that is a traditional public school, charter school, private school, online school, or homeschool. I support voucher and ESA programs that allow education funding to follow the student, while also requiring appropriate financial oversight, accountability, and transparency to ensure taxpayer dollars are used for legitimate educational purposes. Supporting school choice should not mean abandoning our public schools; Arizona can provide families with meaningful choices while continuing to strengthen public education, improve teacher pay, and ensure every child has access to a quality education.
