Both parties have given away power to the Presidency

Separation of powers are threatened by politicians who put their party ahead of their responsibility to Congress. In the US Senate, power has increasingly been given away to the Presidency by Democrats and Republicans more interested in partisan maneuvering than in being responsible. Public taxpayer funding for federal campaigns

Support public taxpayer funding for federal candidates who comply with campaign spending limits.
Increase the amount individuals are permitted to contribute to federal campaigns.
Prohibit Political Action Committee (PAC) contributions to candidates for federal office.
