Millionaire 60-year-olds cannot legislate for young families

The average age in the US Senate is 60 years old. Forty of the 100 US Senators are multi-millionaires. The ability of this body to recognize the challenges that are unique to young people and young families is not there. And the legislation proves it. Klobuchar & Kennedy's ads show you shouldn't vote for either

Fitzgerald has raised $6,300 for his campaign, receiving no contributions from PACs or the Independence Party. By comparison, Kennedy had raised $7.7 million & Klobuchar had raised $6.6 million. Fitzgerald portrays Klobuchar & Kennedy as bogged down in a mud-slinging advertising contest that obscures their stands on issues. "I think these two have done a great job letting Minnesotans know why they shouldn't vote for the other candidate, but not why they should vote for them," he said.
