Zeese supports Instant Runoff Voting where voters rank their choices and only someone with majority support wins election.

Voters need more choice than the two old parties

Zeese is an advocate for giving voters more choices than the two parties and has been nominated by three political parties in Maryland - Green, Libertarian and Populist Parties. This is the first time in history that these parties have joined together to nominate one US Senate candidate.
Zeese opposes the two old parties 'selling the country to the highest bidder.'

Impeach Bush & Cheney for lying about Iraq

I favor an impeachment inquiry of President Bush and Vice President Cheney. If President Bush and Vice President Cheney misled the country in order to invade Iraq they should be impeached for doing so - there is no greater crime a president can commit then lying to the nation in order to start a war. Doubt about election results weakens democracy

Democracy in the United States has shown serious weakness in recent years. The results of the last two presidential races are doubted by many. In Maryland, a governors race - where a Democrat won - is doubted by Republicans. Doubt in election results, redistricting to limit competition, low voter turnout, exclusion of third parties and our antiquated "winner take all voting" are issues that need urgent attention. Require a paper record for computerized voting

[I advocate] requiring a paper record for computerized voting. Two dozen states have passed laws requiring a paper record while Maryland is one of two states (Georgia is the other) that votes statewide without a paper record. Such records are important to restore confidence that votes are counted as they are intended as such records can be used in transparent, independent audits and meaningful recounts.
