Push for lobbying reform

"The sad truth is Jon Kyl, the well-heeled and well-connected are ushered into the halls of power while middle class families are left out in the cold. Jon Kyl has become the lobbyist's lobbyist." Pederson called for legislation which would shine a light on secret meetings between lobbyists and Members of Congress. "I'll work to force all Members to immediately disclose all contacts with lobbyists involving pending legislation and to ban conversations with lobbyists from occurring outside of Senate offices.
