Immediate withdrawal from Iraq is an unworkable strategy

There can be no substitute for clearly defined goals and the willingness to achieve them. While there is no benchmark of acceptable losses in personnel there is one unworkable strategy- immediate withdrawal. Al Qaeda and Iran would be overjoyed at that prospect.
