Warren sponsored legislation to make primary health care available to uninsured children under 6. Warren was the sponsor of legislation to require physicians to warn patients of risks related to breast implants. Raise taxes on cigarettes to expand health coverage for kids

Warren was a leader in the passage of the Health Care Expansion Bill, which was funded by a 25 cent increase in the cigarette tax. The increase gives smokers a further incentive to quit, while at the same time funding health care for thousands of previously uninsured children.
