Tax oil profits for alternative energy investment

Miller reiterated the plans for energy policy reform that he unveiled last week, including funding research and development of alternative energy by taxing excessive oil industry profits. "We should ensure that the windfall profits that oil companies are making through their lack of competition and lack of investment are being used to move this country towards energy independence," Miller said.
